This is a technique utilizing a fine stainless steel wire introduced under the skin with a needle in a triangular path around folds (nasolabial, marionette and glabellar), depressed scars and wrinkles (upper lip), see illustration below. The DiamondWire releases these areas causing a softening of the folds, scars or wrinkles. Filling substances may also be utilized for the same problem areas. This includes injectable fillers and surgically inserted implants.
